How it works

Who can see my uploaded documents?

Only you. Every document is scoped to your session, and a request carrying somebody else's document id is refused rather than answered. Files are processed by eGovAI under terms that do not permit training on them. The original scan is deleted 30 days after it was read, gone from storage within a few days of that, and the data read from it stays in your history until you delete it. Documents read as a guest are deleted entirely after 30 days. Copies in our backups are gone within 30 days.

What if eGovAI reads something wrong?

It tells you where it is unsure. Every value carries a confidence, and anything smudged, cut off or ambiguous is flagged for you to check against the paper. Nothing is invented to fill a gap: a value it cannot read is left out rather than guessed. If a whole extraction is wrong, delete it — the record goes at once and the stored scan within a few days.

Is an extracted copy legally valid?

No. This is a reading aid, not a certified true copy, and an extraction has no standing of its own. Only the document issued by the agency — the PSA, your barangay, the NBI, the LTO — is valid for a transaction. Use the extracted data to fill forms and check details faster, and bring the paper.

Does this work on a mobile connection?

Yes, and it is built for one. Your phone uploads straight to storage rather than through this service, so a document takes one trip over the network instead of two. You can photograph a document with the camera instead of picking a file. PDF, JPG, PNG, WEBP or HEIC, up to 20 MB.
